| We've been staying in a cottage at the laurels ever summer since 2005. We are there again this summer. Great place.

We stayed for 10days at the Laurels in September. The staff, especially the manager Graham, were so helpful from the minute we arrived.Being new to touring, they assisted us from getting the caravan in the right place to setting up our awning before the rain set in. We had some trouble with our electrics/battery but Graham could not do enough to ensure we were sorted out and that the problem did not spoil our stay. The site was very well kept and clean. There is some noise from the road at times but this did not spoil our stay and you do get used to it. The park is central to all major roads for exploring Cornwall. There is a bus service from Wadebridge to Padstow which stops directly outside the entrance. We found a local pub in St Issey which did excellent reasonable homemade food and well worth a visit. The local camel trail is a must, either walking or riding. We would definately recommend the Laurels.

| We stayed at the Laurels at the end of July this year, we had a great time. The site is beautiful and very well kept. We will be recommending to friends.

Booked last minute via the web and were not dissapointed. Lovely little site, really well kept with a family friendly atmosphere.
Nice touches like fridge/freezer for communal use and a wetsuit drying area make all the difference.
The kids loved the play area, and we made full use of both the Camel Trail and the numerous beautiful beaches which are nearby.
Don't be put off this site by the negative comments regarding the busy main road outside, it really isn't that noticible and the local bus will pick-up / drop-off right outside the entrance.
In all, a really lovely site that we hope to visit again soon.

| stayed in the farmhouse cottage, one of the best cootages we've stayed in round cornwall, Just one quarm, the bed was a little uncomfortable, apart form that, absoloultly fabulous

| We have been staying at The Laurels for the last five years and have loved it there. Everywhere is so clean, neat and well-maintained. The wardens this year have been exceptional. Friendly, helpful and hard working. They are a credit to the site. This has been the best site we've been on and we highly recommend it to everybody. Thankyou, The Laurels. | We have just had ten nights at The Laurels and thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff are all so friendly and very helpful. And the site was very well maintained. The toilets and showers where very clean.Would definately go again.

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Laurels campsite over the Royal Cornweall week in June.
Great site, clean, well maintained and very friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble and we will definately be returning next June at the same time.
Thanks to everyone who made our stay so pleasant.

| We all had a great time at your campsite. We found it very clean and tidy at all times. The staff were helpful and made it feel like a home from home. We think there is nothing really to improve and only to keep up the good work. Next time we come to Cornwall we will be staying with you again. Thanks so much for such a great holiday.

| Booked to stay at The Laurels over the internet so wasn't sure what to expect.When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by a member of the team.The site is very well kept and extremely clean.With the rain we found the use of the laundry room helpful as well as the use of the fridge and freezer.Nice play area for the children and dog walking areas.The staff were really friendly and had good knowledge of the local area.The site is in an ideal location for exploring Cornwall.We will definately return to this site if we visit Cornwall in the future.Book a stay at The Laurels you will not be disappointed!

| My wife and I recently stayed at the Laurels for the first time during August, we were so impressed that we have booked again for two weeks next year and will be bringing some family and friends with us. The site was spotlessly clean with great amenities, very child friendly and a central location to explore all of Cornwall. We would recommend the Laurels to anyone. We will be regular visitors.

We have just come home after our first camping trip and had to say how impressed we were with the Laurels, the site was immaculate and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
We will definately recomend this site to anyone who asks.
Thank you again for making this such a memorable holiday (even if the first night was a bit of a wash out!)

| We just wanted to say a huge 'Thank You' to Kris and Andy for making our great holiay fantastic. The site is very well kept & the amenities are immaculate. Lots to keep the children amused. Although the A39 is close it isn't a bother & means everything is close by. Tesco is only a 5mins drive for all those essentials. There are several great surfing beaches nearby too.We look forward to staying on this site again next year. xx

| We have just spent 2 great weeks on the site, the team are extreamly helpfull and are always available if one needed assistance, the toilet and showers are spotlesly clean, and the park is very well kept, keep up the great work and we will see you again next year Jackie & Alan xx

We stayed here during the weekend of the Royal Cornwall Show so it was busy but there were more than enough facilities for everyone. The shower and toilet block are immaculate.
As with most other comments on this site we got a fantastic and warm welcome from the management team when we arrived.
There is no shop on site and you have to drive to the nearest place to buy shopping.

| Just returned from a weeks holiday staying in my touring van.I can honestly say that the staff are amongst the friendliest people I have ever met, they cannot do enough for you.First time we have been to North Cornwall, when we return, I will certainly be staying at The Laurels.

Just returned from a weeks stay in Love Cottage ( June 4 - 11 2010 ). We had such a lovely week, the cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. All the extra touches make it so special. The site is great and such a pleasure to stay at. The management (Lin and Vince) are so friendly and helpful, we felt very much at home right away. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall from and we will definitely come back one day! Thanks for a brilliant week
